Conflict is uncomfortable for many people. They don't like to confront people. It makes them anxious to even think about. And they avoid it whenever possible.
I have to take a moment to talk about customer service.
As a leader, your job is to accomplish goals through other people. Other people do the actual work, but you are responsible for the results. This makes you (in some ways) dependent on their performance. If they perform well, then you will enjoy good results. If they perform poorly, then you will fail. The performance of your people is the biggest determinant of your success.
I'm so proud of my book, "The Leadership Push: How to Motivate Extraordinary Performance From Ordinary Workers!" The feedback has been great, and it's been swelling even more recently! I'm so grateful for all of your support, and I'm so glad that you've been seeing such great results. applying the ideas found within!
I hope you have big dreams. I hope that you have ambitions for greatness, to lead people to achieve remarkable things. When ambition burns brightly, fortunes improve. And maybe there are a few things about your life that could be improved. I know that there is plenty to be improved in mine. We need energy to make the changes and experience the improvement. A better life is waiting for us, and we can achieve it.
